It has been a great privilege to be part of the Bright Green Summit organised in cooperation with Mundus International and AmCham Sweden – American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden. The summit has featured great insight from both private and public sector, not least from our member HSBC and the British Ambassador to Sweden.

On Thursday 20 October, The BSCC had the pleasure of welcoming members to a hybrid breakfast seminar on the new British Government with Nicola Watkinson from TheCityUK. TheCityUK Represents the private sector interests of the financial and related professional services sector. Nicola Watkinson is Managing Director of the international trade and investment team at TheCityUK. 

We were delighted to have Martin Lundstedt, CEO at Volvo Group, as speaker at our last Industry focused event. The event was generously hosted by Mannheimer Swartling.

On Thursday 8 September the British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce welcomed guests to a Late Summer Drinks Reception hosted by Setterwalls. It was great to be able to gather members, colleagues and friends to reconnect after the summer.

Yesterday we welcomed members to the second seminar in our series on geopolitics and security. The seminar was generously sponsored by Schjödt.

In discussions with our members and other UK and Swedish companies, we have picked up an increasing need for a guide to navigate the new rules which apply to UK companies wanting to establish and expand on the Swedish market. We hope this Guide will do just that.

On Tuesday 31 May, the BSCC and H.E. Judith Gough, British Ambassador to Sweden welcomed BSCC members to the BSCC 68th Annual General Meeting at the Ambassador’s Residence. We would like to thank all of our members and patrons for attending the AGM and express our gratitude for the continuous interest and support from all of you.
