Young Patrons’ Programme 2023

On 4 October, we are welcoming participants to the final seminar of this year’s Young Patrons’ Programme, Strategies in Uncertain Times. Hosted by Eversheds Sutherland, Michael Bahar and Ian Richardsson will discuss how managers can respond to the reality of global complexity and uncertainty. Further, we are looking forward to the YPP London delegation in November, which will include meetings and seminars with BSCC members.

The YPP provides a stimulating learning and networking forum for emergent managerial talent within Patron organisations. With an emphasis on knowledge sharing, the programme also intends to create a networking platform for young professionals representing different industries.

This year’s seminars have covered a wide range of issues that highlighted the challenge of rising to complex challenges in 21st century business. The seminars have included topics such as individual responsibility, professional development, digitalisation and sustainability and were generously hosted by our Patron members; Michaël Berglund AB, Linklaters and NatWest.

As this year’s programme is coming to an end, we are looking forward to and preparing for the coming year. Patrons are welcome to nominate suitable candidates for the YPP 2024. When nominating your candidate, you should consider someone who:

  • Could be the “next generation leader”
  • Has worked 2-5 years
  • Is a cultural bearer for your company and later on for the programme
  • Will dedicate the time to four meetings during the year
