On 18 April, the BSCC had the pleasure of organising an industry focus event with Saab’s CEO Micael Johansson, at their offices in Stockholm.

On 8 March we celebrated the International Women’s Day in partnership with Global Thinkers Forum, Malmö University and Athena40 – A Platform for Visionary Leadership. Connecting speakers from around the world to discuss innovation, change & education for women in the digital age.

On Tuesday 14 February, the BSCC had the pleasure of welcoming members to a financial outlook with Barclays at their office in Stockholm. The briefing was given by Mr. Christian Keller, Managing Director and Head of Economics Research at Barclays.

Yesterday we welcomed members to the third seminar in our series on geopolitics and security. The speakers, Christian Hedelin, Chief Strategy Officer at Saab together with Mattias Hedwall, Head of the International Commercial & Trade Group at Baker McKenzie Advokatbyrå provided the highly engaged audience with an update on the current geopolitical landscape.

On Tuesday we were very happy to welcome members to the first BSCC event of the year. No better start than looking at The World Ahead with Tom Standage, Editor of The World Ahead Economist publication and Deputy Editor of The Economist. 

Yesterday the BSCC and H.E. Ms Judith Gough welcomed members to the BSCC Annual Christmas Reception and Award Ceremony hosted at the Ambassador’s residence. It was lovely to see so many of you yesterday and we would like to extend many thanks to all of our members for your contribution and support throughout the year.

Last week the BSCC Young Patrons 2022 were invited to attend the Swedish-British Summit 2022 in London. The summit brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, politicians and academics from Sweden and Britain to discuss leadership in today’s society.
