Updates from Member Companies

We are are always curious about the challenges and possibilities our member companies are facing within their industries. This week we are happy to share updates from TMF Group, Skanska and Linklaters. 

TMF group

TMF Group has announced their expansion into Southeast Europe through the acquisition of the Bulgarian accounting consultancy, NOVACON Bulgaria OOD. This is an important step for the company’s growing presence in Bulgarian markets, as well as the broader Southern-eastern European market. In addition, the company has announced that they will exit all their Russian clients.

Besides their strategic decisions, TMF Group has published their annual report for 2021. It shows a strong financial performance with revenue growth of 8%, adjusted EBITDA growth of 15% and employee engagement increase of 63 percentage points.

Skanska

Skanska has set ambitious sustainability goals for the construction project of a new industrial area in Skellefteå. The project would be the most sustainable ever in Sweden and pave the path for the industry’s future. Now that the project has been completed, they have beyond achieved their set goals. They have decreased their CO2 emissions by 5300 tons, including 2357 tons by using fossil-free HVO100 fuel, 261 tons thanks to the implementation of electric crushing and 165 tons by laying green asphalt (Biozero).

Linklaters

Recently, Linklaters received a Gold Award for their inclusivity commitment in their workplace. They were also named a Top 100 Employer (ranked 53rd) in the UK for LGBT+ people by the charity organization Stonewall.

Besides the inclusivity recognition, Richard Smith, partner at Linklaters, has been selected by The National Trial Lawyers for inclusion in the Top 100 Criminal Defense Trial Lawyers in Washington, D.C.
