On 5 May, in Barcelona, Brunswick Group‘s Geopolitical Senior Advisor, and former US Ambassador to the EU during 2014-2017, Anthony Gardner, offered insight on the current energy security crisis and the significance of the multiple sanctions successfully imposed on Russia. Anthony stated that these actions have reinforced the EU’s status as a global superpower alongside the US.
M&G plc, has completed the acquisition of Swiss-based responsAbility Investments AG (“responsAbility”), a leader in impact investing, focused on private debt and private equity across emerging markets with approximately USD 3.7 billion in assets under management (as at 31 December 2021). The acquisition, enhances M&G’s capabilities in impact investing. It also expands and strengthens M&G’s international footprint, adding an investment hub in Zurich, and offices in new markets, enhancing M&G’s existing asset origination capabilities.
On 26 April, MoveByNumbers hosted a lunch event about starting your own company and expanding in the foreign markets at United Spaces in Stockholm. The speakers Jonny Boström (MoveByNumbers) and Johan Aurén (Accountum) spoke about what you need to keep in mind when starting a new business and what you should keep an extra eye on if you are considering expanding and conducting sales outside of Sweden’s borders.
