Updates from Member Companies

We are are always curious about the challenges and possibilities our member companies are facing within their industries. This week we are happy to share updates from IK Investments Partners and Swedmec. 

At the beginning of the year we met with Gustav Nilsson, Director of  Operations at IK Invest in Stockholm. Gustav shared some exciting news about the development of IK in the UK. In the beginning of January IK announced the launch of their first UK Mid Cap strategy, investing in growing businesses across the Firm’s core sectors: Business Services, Healthcare, Consumer and Industrials. Last week we also had a quick catch up with Fredrik Ahlström, co-owner of Swedmec, service providers in marketing and sales for suppliers to the automotive and engineering industry OEM´s. They work for well know suppliers of ingoing material to major OEM´s in the UK and Sweden. They have a very  positive view of the relations between the two nations and see great potential in the generational shift to new technology to support the electrification and renewable sources of energy supplies.
