TePe release annual Sustainability Report

TePe, a BSCC Patron member, has recently published their Sustainability Report 2020 to make progress towards a healthier future for Sweden and the rest of the planet. Last year, the company began spreading awareness of oral health and its connection to general health through 250 webinars (reaching 13,000 participants); furthermore, TePe has set the ambitious target of carbon neutral products and packaging in 2022. The Director of Marketing and Innovation has specifically highlighted the need for “striving for increased circularity throughout our operations and raising health awareness through education”. An example of a recent innovation includes their sustainable interdental brushes (launched Q1 of 2021) which have a comparatively 80% lower carbon footprint.

The 56 year old company now also uses 100% renewable energy across production facilities and was able to manufacture 2.8 million toothbrushes from their own solar power generated during 2020. Overall, the 53 page report offers insight and successful strategies from within one of the world’s most famous oral hygiene brands. Click here to learn more.
