YPP: Swedish British Summit 2022 in London

Last week the BSCC Young Patrons 2022 were invited to attend the Swedish-British Summit 2022 in London. The summit brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, politicians and academics from Sweden and Britain to discuss leadership in today’s society. It was greatly inspiring to attend and we wish to extend many thanks to the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK with Peter Sandberg and team for welcoming us.

During our visit to London we also had the fantastic opportunity to visit SEB, the Houses of Parliament, the Lloyd’s Building and Linklaters. The visit underscored the close friendship between Sweden and Britain, and highlighted the interconnectedness of our nations’ business and political spheres.

We would like to extend special thanks to everyone involved in making our visit to London extraordinary:

Fredrik BjörkmanJosefin Stange-JonssonCarmen KilleenHenrik Landegren Lesaque and the SEB team for arranging and hosting us for an excellent breakfast presentation focusing on ESG;

Steve AngusSophia Fearon and MP Andrew Bowie for arranging and hosting us for a highly engaging visit at the Houses of Parliament;

Erik Börjesson for arranging for us to visit the Lloyd’s building and Anne Glynn for showing us around and sharing some fantastic metaphors with us;

Niclas WidjeskogIda TöyräClaire Rogers and Aoife Monaghan for arranging and hosting us for a great afternoon session focusing on the evolving ESG landscape and antitrust;

last but not least thank you to our fantastic Young Patron participants for contributing with great input from your sectors and for trusting us (and sometimes helping us) to navigate the London Underground.
