Turner & Townsend to Lead Two Delivery Partnerships for the UK Ministry of Defence

The UK Ministry of Defence’s ‘Defence Equipment & Support’ (DE&S) organisation exists to progress extensive projects for purchasing and supporting equipment/services for the operation of Europe’s largest military budget.

Turner & Townsend, members of the BSCC, are to lead two delivery partnerships with DE&S to support the Ministry of Defence in its plans. This represents part of the planned £186bn investment, before 2028, which will create jobs and help sustain the DE&S as a best-in-class delivery organisation. The partnership is intended to assist in the identification, maturing and delivery of innovation proposals to improve the efficiency/effectiveness of the DE&S commercial operations across the business.
