INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Are you interested in doing an internship at the British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Stockholm? Each semester we offer one full-time internship and one part-time internship. We are looking for university students at the end of their studies at a Masters or Bachelors level with an interest in bi-lateral relations between Sweden and the UK. We offer you a platform to expand your professional network, develop your skills and gain valuable insight into our membership community. You will also have the opportunity to participate in certain programmes, including seminars and conferences, and meet with business leaders and policymakers within our network.

During the Spring semester 2021, we offer the following two internships:

COMMUNICATIONS AND EVENTS INTERN

The main responsibilities of the communications and events intern surrounds promoting the chamber, its members and events across the channels of our newsletter, website and social media through effective communication. A day as an intern include the tasks of creating marketing material for events, taking part of the planning process of events together with members as well as assisting during the events on site. The responsibility also entails promoting an efficient communication strategy, both internally within the team and externally across the chamber. With responsibility from day one and meaningful tasks to do, as an intern you will gain immense insights and experience within the international business relations between Sweden and the UK. 

This internship, lasting for 20 weeks (one semesters), is offered as an opportunity to complement your university studies starting January 2021, and is unpaid.

The British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce is situated in Stockholm, Waterfront Building Klarabergsviadukten 63, and the internship will be based here.

Qualifications

We are looking for person who is driven, ambitious and full of initiative with the following profile:

  • Currently enrolled student at a university studying a bachelor degree within business, economics, marketing or equivalent. (Osäker exakt vad som söks här)
  • Fluency in Swedish and English is required.
  • Is eager to learn, enjoy networking and team work.
  • Has a genuine interest in promoting business and trade between the Sweden and the UK 
  • Is available between January and June 2021

MARKETING AND EVENTS INTERN

As our Events and Marketing Intern you are expected to participate and help us coordinate and market our events throughout the semester. Ideally you are studying towards a degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or a similar field with experience from working with event coordination and marketing. You will take part in the management of our website, social media accounts and help us create digital marketing material. We value your ability to work independently and find creative solutions. The internship is a part-time position that requires you to be in Stockholm when we are hosting events. Normally, our events take place outside office hours, from 7.00-9.00 or 17.00-20.00, thus making it possible for you to combine this internship with full-time studies.

This internship, lasting for 20-40 weeks (one or two semesters), is offered as an opportunity to complement your university studies starting January 2021, and is unpaid.

Qualifications

We are looking for person who is driven, ambitious and full of initiative with the following profile:

  • Interest in Marketing, Digital Media and Event Coordination
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Social Media Marketing
  • Experience from working with event marketing strategies
  • Preferably knowledge within web-design, photography and filmmaking
  • Is available between January and June 2021
