The BSCC welcomes three new interns for autumn 2025

This autumn, we are pleased to welcome a new group of talented interns to the British Swedish Chamber of Commerce: Isabelle Håkansson, Oskar Haag, and Lucas Maynard.

Joining us from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, they’ll be contributing across a range of activities at the Chamber — from supporting our events and communications to engaging with our members and partners.

We’re excited to have them on board and look forward to the energy and insight they’ll bring to the BSCC team this season. Get to know them in the short bios below!

Isabelle Håkansson
Isabelle Håkansson holds a Master of Science in Marketing Communication from Stockholm University, complemented by courses in Law, Languages, History and Political Science from Uppsala University, UCLA, Universidad de Navarra and the University of Queensland.

Extensive educational and professional experiences internationally, including several stints in  Australia, Spain and United States, has strengthened her intercultural focus.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Swedish, Isabelle is passionate about cross-cultural collaboration, communication and creation.

Oskar Haag
Oskar Haag is completing his final semester of a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Stockholm University, with a strong academic interest in trade, diplomacy, and policy. Having lived and studied in both the UK and Sweden, Oskar brings a bicultural perspective that informs his approach to international business and collaboration.

With a solid foundation in international affairs, Oskar is particularly interested in how global trade and policy frameworks influence local economies. His academic background and personal experience equip him to navigate and analyze the dynamic relationship between the UK and Sweden.

Lucas Maynard
Lucas is a final-year Economics undergraduate based in London, with a bicultural background that spans both Sweden and the UK. His academic focus and personal experience have fostered a keen interest in trade, policy, and cross-cultural collaboration between the two countries.

He is eager to contribute his understanding of economic and policy issues to further the development of strong business ties between Sweden and the UK.
