We look forward to welcoming you to a lunch event on Implications of the US elections – A geopolitical aspect with speaker Patrick Pearsall, partner at A&O Shearman.

Mr. Pearsall served, for nearly a decade, in the U.S. State Department under former President Obama working on economic diplomacy, investment security and geopolitical risk. He departed in 2017 as the Chief of Investment Arbitration.

Patrick will speak to his knowledge of what approaches the incoming president will have on US-Nordic trade, and speculate on the amount of participation the incoming president will have on international relations, particularly in relation to international security and presence in the Ukraine / Russia conflict.

We are also delighted to welcome a strategist from NatWest who will share the macro and financial implications of the result of the US election.

Date: 11 November 2024
