On Tuesday we were very happy to welcome members to the first BSCC event of the year. No better start than looking at The World Ahead with Tom Standage, Editor of The World Ahead Economist publication and Deputy Editor of The Economist. 

In The World Ahead 2023 correspondents and outside experts consider the interlocking challenges facing the world: the war in Ukraine, high food and fuel prices, the fight against inflation, the transition to renewable energy, and China’s uncertain post-pandemic path.

During the webinar Tom shared his top ten predictions for the coming year based on his editorial letter for the The World Ahead 2023 publication. The predictions consider the global challenges and opportunities for 2023.
